FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing tungsten carbide powder using an electric charge. It can be used to produce tungsten carbide powder used for making tools that require high hardness and corrosion resistance. The device comprises a metal base with a vertical stand mounted on it, in the upper part of which a linear drive of vertical movement is fixed, comprising a frame in the form of a parallelepiped open on the side, inside of which a first screw with a trapezoidal thread is vertically placed, on which a first square nut is put. The end of the first screw is connected by a first coupling to the shaft of the first stepper motor. The end of a horizontally located dielectric holder is attached to the first square nut, to the free end of which the end of the anode in the form of a solid graphite rod is vertically attached. A linear drive of horizontal movement is installed on the base, comprising a rectangular frame open at the top, inside of which a second screw with a trapezoidal thread is horizontally placed, the end of which is connected to the shaft of the second stepper motor by a second coupling. A second square nut is placed on the second screw, on which a horizontal dielectric pad is fixed, to which the radiator is attached. An aluminium plate is installed on the radiator with mounting sockets for placement in each cathode in the form of a vertically located cylindrical graphite glass. The radiator has a groove for circulation of distilled water.
EFFECT: improved productivity and increased service life of the device.
