FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: libraries for screening for an antibody that binds to an antigen of interest in a pH-dependent manner. Libraries are essentially composed of multiple sequence-differing antibodies, where the antigen binding domain in each antibody contains at least one histidine, which modifies the antigen binding activity of the antibody depending on pH conditions. Compositions for antibody screening containing a plurality of polynucleotide molecules encoding antibodies, or a plurality of vectors, each of which contains these polynucleotide molecules are also described. In addition, a method for obtaining a library for screening an antibody, a method for selecting an antibody whose antigen-binding activity varies depending on pH conditions, a method for isolating a polynucleotide encoding the said antibody, and variants of the method for producing the said antibody are disclosed.
EFFECT: libraries for screening an antibody are disclosed.
