FIELD: control and measurement equipment for nuclear radiation.
SUBSTANCE: anode of a position-sensitive detector of thermal and cold neutrons based on a plane-parallel resistive chamber is made of thermopolished glass and semiconducting enamel is applied to it on the outside, a board with X-strips and a board with Y-strips are located on different sides relative to the working volume, the strips on the boards are connected on the delay line; the ends of the delay lines are connected to electrical connectors by coaxial cables, the outer braids of the cables are grounded to the housing. The boards and the anode and cathode forming the working gas volume are connected to the sealed housing with plastic screws.
EFFECT: increase in the durability of the device in a neutron beam.
