FIELD: medicine; cardiovascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cerebral revascularization in acute thrombosis of the reconstruction area after eversion carotid endarterectomy (eCEE). Internal carotid artery (ICA) is cut off from the common carotid artery (CCA) by dissecting the anastomosis. ICA is cut off behind the thrombosis zone in the distal direction. Portion of the greater saphenous vein (GSV) is resected from the orifice with a length corresponding to the length of the removed portion of the ICA. Resected portion of the GSV is reversed and dissected along 2/3 of its length; thereafter, an end-to-end anastomosis is made between the non-dissected portion of the GSV and the ICA. End-to-side anastomosis is made between the dissected section of the GSV, the external carotid artery (ECA) and the CCA, and the blood flow is triggered.
EFFECT: method enables to eliminate the risks of developing ischemic stroke, eliminate the thrombogenic inflamed surface of the vessel from the bloodstream, reduce the length of the surgical intervention, preserve blood flow from CCA to ECA, reduces risks of postoperative complications.
