SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for quantitative determination of the sum of flavonoids in white poplar leaves by extraction of raw materials with organic solvents, followed by sample preparation and determination of optical density by differential spectrophotometry, wherein extraction of raw material is carried out in ratio of 1 g of raw material per 30 ml of ethyl alcohol in concentration of 80%, extraction time is extraction in a boiling water bath for 90 minutes, degree of grinding of raw material — 2 mm, reaction of complexation with aluminium chloride for 30 minutes; quantitative determination of the sum of flavonoids in white poplar leaves is carried out at wavelength of 410 nm in terms of rutin; The content of the sum of flavonoids X is calculated as a percentage in terms of rutin.

EFFECT: invention provides a method for quantitative determination of the amount of flavonoids in white poplar leaves in terms of rutin.
