FIELD: chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemistry and pharmaceuticals, namely, to a method for quantifying the amount of flavonoids in the leaves of petiolate oak. The method includes obtaining water-alcohol extraction from the leaves of petiolate oak by a single extraction with ethyl alcohol of 1 g of an exact suspension of air-dry raw materials, crushed to a certain particle size, in the ratio raw material : extractant of 1:50 and quantitative determination of the amount of flavonoids by differential spectrophotometry in terms of rutin, and the content of the amount of flavonoids in terms of rutin and absolutely dry raw materials is calculated by the formula:
where: x is the content of the sum of flavonoids in terms of rutin,%; D is the optical density of the test solution; D0 is the optical density of the solution of the State Standard sample of rutin; m is the mass of raw materials, g; m0 is the mass of the State Standard sample of rutin, g; W is the mass loss during drying,%; in the absence of a standard sample of rutin, the theoretical value of its specific absorption index is equal to 240:

EFFECT: invention provides a selective method for quantifying the amount of flavonoids in the leaves of petiolate oak in terms of a flavonoid substance specific to oak leaves, rutin.
