SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling emergency autonomous braking of first vehicle (1), comprising: a step (E1) of calculating a risk of collision of first vehicle (1) with second vehicle (30) approaching from the side, step (E2) of monitoring parameters of manual control of first vehicle, step (E3) of calculating at least one indicator indicating an intention to turn towards a second vehicle on the side of the driver of the first vehicle, depending on said manual control parameters, step (E4) for activating emergency autonomous braking of the first vehicle, if the indicator indicates an intention to turn towards the second vehicle on the side of the driver of the first vehicle.
EFFECT: reliability and simplicity of emergency autonomous braking control method which does not require use of navigation data or communication device between vehicles.
