FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a battery, mainly a lithium-ion battery, to its device and method of manufacturing, wherein the battery is provided with a pressure release mechanism when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold value. Technical result is achieved by preventing possible ingress of adhesive into release channel of pressure release mechanism, for which the battery cell is provided with an adhesive component, which comprises a temperature control component or a support component, an insulating component, which has a main part and a protrusion protruding from the surface of the main part, wherein the protrusion is configured to prevent the application of an adhesive between the attached component and the pressure release mechanism. Due to the insulating component it is possible to prevent the glue application between the fastening component and the pressure release mechanism during the battery production process, as well as to increase the glue application accuracy, which increases efficiency of battery production. Insulating component with a projection, which protrudes from the surface of the main part and serves as a support for the battery parts, allows to make the battery design more compact and to improve efficiency of free space usage, which improves energy density.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the pressure release mechanism in the battery.
