FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to teaching aids in veterinary science. Simulator for mastering the technique of laparotomy and surgical operations on the intestines and stomach of animals includes a platform for fixation of fragments of natural internal organs of an animal, including a fragment of intestine filled with a simulator of intestinal contents. As fragments of natural internal organs of an animal, fragments of intestine, stomach or rumen are used, pre-filled with moistened sawdust, fixed with stapler staples and covered from above with a simulator of an abdominal wall, consisting of layers of natural leather and layers made of simulating material of subcutaneous fat, muscle layer and peritoneum. Between the layers of the abdominal wall simulator there are blood vessels simulating teflon catheters connected to an infusion system with a fluid simulating blood. Platform with fragments of natural internal organs of animal is placed in metal frame and fixed with fastening bolts.

EFFECT: providing simulation of clinical conditions close to real ones.
