SUBMARINE TORPEDO REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC F42B19/10 B63G8/32 F41G7/32 F41F3/10

Abstract RU 2817159 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems and methods of remote control (RC) of projectiles via electric wire or fibre-optic cable. Proposed remote control system comprises ship and torpedo coils with cables wound thereon. RC system comprises a cable channel with a ship contact disc at the end. Torpedo is equipped with a recorder for the loss of rigid connection with the torpedo apparatus and a folding lever with a torpedo contact disc. Outer hull of the submarine at the edge of the breakwater recess and the breakwater shield on the edge are equipped with parts of a split union forming a fork with a through hole when closed. To control the torpedo from the submarine, the hinged lever with the torpedo contact disc is turned beyond the dimensions of the torpedo in response to a signal from the recorder of the loss of rigid connection of the torpedo with the torpedo apparatus. During longitudinal movement of torpedo during firing torpedo contact disk is combined with ship contact disk, providing fixation of telecontrol cable with their simultaneous welding. With further movement of torpedo, torpedo contact disc is detached from hinged lever and remains connected to ship contact disc, providing free penetration of remote control cable. Immediately after firing, parts of the split nozzle are gripped by the plug of the telecontrol cable, which freely penetrates through the formed through hole in the nozzle. To remove friction, compressed gas or fluid is pumped through the cable channel into the ship and torpedo contact discs.

EFFECT: remote control is achieved by torpedo from submarine without limitation on reloading of aircraft.
