SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for preventing nosocomial pneumonia in cardiosurgical patients. Inhalation of nitrogen oxide in concentration of 200 ppm for 30 minutes each is carried out twice a day during first 5 days of the postoperative period.
EFFECT: invention enables reducing the number of nosocomial pneumonias in the patients operated on by cardiopulmonary bypass, and improving the results of cardiosurgical interventions.
