FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to techniques of intensive and respiratory therapy in cardiosurgical interventions, and can be used for treating nosocomial pneumonia in cardiosurgical patients. Method consists in conducting a systemic antibacterial therapy. In addition, inhalations of nitrogen oxide in concentration of 200 ppm are performed for 30 minutes each 3 times day for 7 days from the moment of diagnosis or until resolution of the disease, if resolution occurred earlier.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the length of treatment of nosocomial pneumonia in cardiosurgical patients.
