FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an expression plasmid pET28a-AsnSYN intended for synthesis of L-asparaginase and having the sequence SEQ ID NO: 3, containing a DNA fragment coding Escherichia coli type II L-asparaginase. Also disclosed is a bacterium belonging to the genus Escherichia, transformed by said plasmid and intended for synthesis of L-asparaginase of Escherichia coli type II.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the amount of asparaginase per unit volume of the fermenter and per kilogram of Escherichia coli biomass, as well as obtaining asparaginase with high output and purity.
