FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used to protect the leading edge of wind turbine blades. Disclosed is use of a coating composition containing a base composition and a curing agent for applying a coating on a wind turbine blade. Base composition contains a polyester-containing aspartic acid ester of formula (I)
where each R is a linear or branched C1-C10 alkyl residue, X is a polyester. Wind turbine blade is also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase flexibility, strength, resistance to abrasion and resistance to rain erosion of coating of a wind turbine blade.
