FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair of cracks in bells by hot dynamic pressing in a gasostatic chamber at an inert gas temperature of 600–650 °C and pressure of up to 100 MPa, at which it is subjected to compression on an internal blank having a cavity inside, isolated from the general atmosphere of the gasostat, the external shape of which coincides with the internal shape of the bell, at that, between them there is a process gap with width of 3–5 mm, and the bell itself together with the ingot is placed on the platform with the possibility of independent control of gas pressure both in the ingot cavity and in the process gap, which is sealed and then evacuated from it, and the cavity itself is connected to the gasostat chamber through the control valves.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce gas pressure inside gasostat from 200 MPa to 30–50 MPa, that is 4–7 times, which will make it possible to considerably reduce thickness and weight of power bed of apparatus and will lead to reduction of its cost.
