FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for processing discrete or solid materials under high pressure and temperature. The gasostatic extruder contains a foundation in the form of a strip, on the sides of which there are rails, and vertical chambers are located in the centre inside the foundation. Each chamber is made in the form of a hollow metal cylinder, has equipment for creating gas pressure and temperature and is hermetically sealed with a lid on top. The top of the cover is located level with the foundation. A loading platform in the shape of a truncated pyramid is installed on the runway. The platform has the ability to move by means of gear wheels installed on its sides or screw-rotor propulsion devices located in engagement with grooves-teeth or screw threads made on the rails, respectively. A compressor unit is provided to create an air cushion under the bottom of the pyramid. Along the perimeter of the platform there is a sealed fence in the form of adjacent metal shields that can slide relative to each other.
EFFECT: it is possible to process products of large mass and dimensions.
