FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating a propeller blank by direct arc growth. In the method, by means of specialized software, adaptive 3D model of the future blank is constructed, taking into account its element-by-element division into a blade, a hub and transitions between them, wherein blade is additionally divided into smaller parts by cutting of constructed surfaces into several parts, then constructing control trajectories for each obtained surface with reverse direction of movement of working tool along layers of rollers of deposited material, pitch of displacement between which is set in range of 1 to 2 mm, then the control trajectories are combined into one common, taking into account the order of execution of each roller in the layer and variable values of the process parameters are introduced, namely speed, value of current and voltage, after which performing the common control trajectory program code conversion into the process control program, which is loaded to the direct arc growing plant controller, in the working zone of the plant, a metal substrate is fixed, which corresponds to the dimensions of the blank, working parameters of the process and the gas mixture are introduced and the control program for sequential growth of the blank is started.

EFFECT: higher coefficient of use of filler material and reduced time of blank growth.
