FIELD: shipbuilding industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of shipbuilding, namely, to production of propellers. Essence of invention consists in application of direct laser growth method for creation of screw propeller workpiece with preliminary creation of 3D model of propeller screw, its layer-by-layer break into layers with a pitch of vertical displacement of layers of 0.8 mm and pitch of transverse displacement of 2 mm, creation of a program for managing the complex for direct laser growth and subsequent exposure, thermal treatment and mechanical processing of the side surface of the workpiece. Propeller screw workpiece is created by successive growth of hub and then blades thereon at following ranges of growth mode parameters: size of metal powder fractions – from 50 mcm to 150 mcm, transport and protective gas flow rate is 10 l/min and 30 l/min respectively, mass flow rate of supply of metal powder is from 20 g/min to 60 g/min, laser radiation power is from 1.4 kW to 2.2 kW, diameter treatment zone patches – from 2 mm to 3 mm, speed of laser head displacement relative to substrate – from 20 mm/s to 30 mm/s.
EFFECT: reduced amount of required filler material, preparatory operations, reduced limitation of the method of fabrication of the product configuration, elimination of complex process equipment.
