SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for external compression of the lower half of the body in hypovolemic patients. Device is made with possibility of sequential segmental fixation due to textile fasteners. Device consists of segments of elastic three-layer knitted fabric for wrapping around lower extremities and lower part of abdomen, having outer layer with Velcro loops of textile fasteners. Device comprises on each side a segment for ankle and shin, a segment for knee joint compression, a segment for hip compression, and segments for gluteal region fixation. Device includes for elastic compression of the lower abdomen, made in the form of a belt, a segment for creating external pressure on the anterior abdominal wall, a perineal region of the patient, made with possibility of access for observation and vaginal examination, wherein the inner layer of each segment is equipped with Velcro fixing hooks of textile fasteners. Device comprises a foot vein compression segment on each side. Segment for hip compression is made of two parts. Segment for creating external pressure on the anterior abdominal wall is made of elastic tissue in the form of a parallelepiped, inside which there is a reservoir with hydrogel balls.

EFFECT: compression of superficial and deep veins of lower extremity for centralization of patient’s circulating blood volume with simultaneous external compression of lower abdomen in patients in hypovolemia, when used for postpartum patients, external compression of lower abdomen is combined with compression of uterus for prevention of hypotonic haemorrhage.
