METHOD FOR ASSESSING RISK OF PERINATAL COMPLICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH INFECTION CAUSED BY SARS-COV-2 IN THIRD TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/205 A61B5/145 A61B6/03 A61B8/06

Abstract RU 2820005 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and perinatology, and can be used to assess perinatal complications associated with infection caused by SARS-COV-2 in the third trimester of pregnancy. Obstetric-gynaecological and somatic medical history (MH), the course of the present pregnancy (PC) and the severity of the disease caused by SARS-COV-2 (SI) are assessed. Derived values are evaluated in points and an average value is calculated for each of the three blocks of MH, PC and SI. Risk of perinatal complications is determined by the formula RPC=MH+PC+SI. If the RPC value is less than 3 points, the risk of perinatal complications is considered to be low, if the RPC value is from 3 to 4 points, the risk of perinatal complications is considered to be medium, and if the RPC value is 4 points and more, the risk of perinatal complications is considered to be high.

EFFECT: method enables determining a risk group of early neonatal disorders and correcting a pregnancy management approach by assessing a combination of the most significant parameters.
