FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be used for selection of orthokeratological correction in children with myopia. That is ensured by refractometry and keratotopography. Patient’s age and degree of myopia are determined. If patient is 7 to 12 years old and has mild myopia, customized orthokeratological lenses with an increased depth of the reverse zone by 60 mcm are chosen.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of orthokeratological correction and intensification of its therapeutic effect due to stabilization of progressive myopia in children with myopia.
