FIELD: medicine; hematology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the effect of haemostatic agents on blood clot formation. Coagulation time of recalcified donor blood is determined by electro-coagulometry. As an object of study, powdery haemostatic agents or preliminarily powdered solid forms of haemostatic agents are used, the ratio of the weight of the test sample and the weight of the blood taking into account the weight of the test tube is 1:650, which are placed in a glass cup with citrate-stabilized blood of the donor and stirred using a magnetic stirrer. Steel ball is placed in the cuvette of the coagulometer, 100 mcl of thromboplastin-calcium mixture is added with the help of micropipette for recalcification of citrate-stabilized blood. 100 mcl of citrated blood mixed with the investigated agent is also introduced. Blood coagulation time is recorded in accordance with the instructions for the coagulometer.

EFFECT: method enables to study the effect of the haemostatic agents in the form of powders, into which all solid forms of haemostatic agents can be converted, for blood clot formation, having technical simplicity, high accuracy, possibility of using solid types of haemostatic agents with different chemical composition for objective assessment of hemostatic activity, due to use of electro-coagulometry method with stabilized solution of sodium citrate donor blood, recalcified for activation of coagulation processes, and as an object of study, a sample of a haemostatic agent preliminarily crushed to a powder state or a powdery haemostatic agent proper.
