METHOD OF THREAD LIFTING FOR FACIAL SKIN REJUVENATION Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/04

Abstract RU 2823539 C1

FIELD: medicine; plastic surgery; cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: skin is cleaned, local anesthesia is applied, surgical sutures are introduced into soft skin of face. Latter are represented by sutures with oppositely directed notches, and sutures ends are brought to the skin surface and additionally fixed by applying surgical knots, which are sunk in soft tissues of the face. Surgical sutures on each half of the face are introduced through a scalp puncture in the temporal region. In the hairy part of the temporal region of the head above the attachment of auricle at 1.5–3.5 cm, a suture is passed, as shown in Fig. 4, forming a rectangle with sides from 1.5 to 4 cm. Formation of the rectangle is completed by bringing both ends of the surgical suture to one point on the side of the formed rectangle facing the buccal region. Derived ends of the surgical suture are knotted twice; the ends of the surgical suture together with the formed knots are inserted into the subcutaneous covering. Free ends of the surgical suture are brought into the buccal region at an acute angle of at least 30° to each other. Suture ends are cut off and inserted into the subcutaneous covering. Further, the input and output surfaces of the surgical sutures are treated with an antiseptic and a cosmetic mask containing vitamins F and E is applied, herbal components of decongestant, wound healing and antibacterial action, D-panthenol, selected as a regenerating component, hyaluronic acid, selected as a moisture-retaining component, sodium alginate, selected as a gelling component, a diluent, with the following ratio of components, wt %: vitamins F and E—0.5–2.0, vegetable components—12.5–34.0, D-panthenol—1.0–7.0, hyaluronic acid—0.5–1.5, gelling component—2.0–7.0, diluent—49.0–83.5. To prevent displacement of sutures to complete survival in the skin in the first three days after thread lifting, taping is performed over said sutures.

EFFECT: method enables to reliably fix the tightened facial tissues during their thread lifting for facial skin rejuvenation, to increase the duration of facial tissues fixation.
