SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an analytical measurement method based on a colour formation reaction in an optical test strip using a mobile device having a camera. Method of analytical measurement includes the following stages: a) providing an optical test strip having a test field without a physiological fluid sample applied thereon; b) obtaining, using the camera, at least one first image of at least a portion of the test field of the optical test strip without a physiological fluid sample applied thereon; c) applying a sample of physiological fluid to the test field of the optical test strip; d) obtaining, using the camera, at least one second image of at least part of the test field of the optical test strip with the sample applied thereon; and e) determining the value of the analytical measurement result using the first image and the second image of the optical test field of the optical test strip, e) wherein the mobile device provides an indication of where to obtain the second image so that the first and second images are obtained in similar local positions relative to at least one environmental object, wherein the environmental object is an object which has a fixed and/or unchanged position between obtaining the first and second images.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements.
