SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of diagnosing functional disorders of shoulder joint using machine vision. Forming a database of images of reference execution of diagnostic exercises, functional diagnostics of shoulder joint disorders with atlas of reference values of angular values of shoulder joint opening and degrees of freedom. Patient’s life history, medical history, functional and programmed diagnostics of the shoulder joint are carried out. At the stage of programmed diagnostics of the state of the shoulder joint, images of a complex of diagnostic exercises performed by the patient are obtained, which are used to construct a three-dimensional model of a patient in a frame using machine vision technology, including the designation of the shoulder joint location on the image of the locomotor system of the patient in the form of reference points on its skeletal model. Spatial position of said points is assessed, and angular values of opening and degrees of freedom of the shoulder joint of the patient are determined from their angular displacements relative to each other. Obtained values are compared with values of opening angles and degrees of freedom of shoulder joint specified in atlas of reference values, and based on the obtained deviations, a list of kinesiotherapeutic and rehabilitation exercises is formed for the correction and treatment of the identified functional disorders of the shoulder joint of the patient.

EFFECT: method provides faster diagnosis and accuracy of determining functional disorders of the shoulder joint.
