FIELD: measuring; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cathodic protection control devices and can be used in operation of pipeline transport corrosion protection services. Device for measuring polarization potential of a pipeline comprises a dielectric housing, a reference electrode with an electric wire, a potential sensor in the form of a flat plate with an electric wire. Dielectric housing is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with a side branch with a reference electrode in it with an electric wire. Potential sensor is a flat round plate with an electric wire mounted in a hollow cylinder in a plane perpendicular to its axis, wherein the diameter of the round flat plate is equal to the inner diameter of the hollow cylinder, the axis of the side branch is perpendicular to the axis of the hollow cylinder. In the hollow cylinder there is a potential sensor at a distance from the axis of the side branch equal to 1–1.2 of its radius, wherein the hollow cylinder and the side branch are filled with soil.

EFFECT: possibility of contactless measurement of polarization potential.
