FIELD: medicine; phthisiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine activity of tuberculosis infection in pediatric patients with latent tuberculosis infection. In a heparinised blood sample after 24-hour incubation in the presence of a specific recombinant protein ESAT-6-CFP-10, interferon gamma is quantified, measurement of mRNA expression level of PDL2 and BATF2 genes, as well as determination of interleukin 6 (IL-6) concentration in blood serum. If the concentration of interferon gamma is 14 pg/ml and more, the positive expression level of mRNA PDL2 and BATF2 and IL-6 is more than 8 pg/ml, the presence of active tuberculosis infection is stated.
EFFECT: method enables to determine activity of tuberculosis infection in pediatric patients with latent tuberculosis infection for 2 days by determining markers in a heparinised blood sample after 24-hour incubation in the presence of a specific mycobacterium tuberculosis recombinant protein ESAT-6-CFP-10.
