FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of forming an antifriction ceramic coating on the surface of a steel article in the form of a rotor shaft of a turbocompressor of an internal combustion engine. Mechanical treatment is carried out, powder suspension is applied, it is levelled with a rolling roller and laser short-pulse deposition of the above suspension is performed. Said powder suspension contains a powder composition containing boron nitride – 40 wt.%, boron carbide – 37 wt.% and lithium oxide – 23 wt.%.
EFFECT: obtaining an antifriction ceramic coating on the surface of said shaft, which increases shaft run-out time, increases intensity of its spinning, reduces the turbo-hole effect and its duration.
