METHOD FOR DETERMINING PRODROMAL STAGE OF PARKINSON'S DISEASE BY DETECTING EARLY MOTOR DISORDERS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G16H50/00 A61B5/103

Abstract RU 2826337 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnosis and determination of prodromal stage of Parkinson's disease. Disclosed is a method for determining the prodromal stage of PD by detecting early motor disorders, characterized by the fact that average parameters of movements of a group of patients with early stage of PD are determined by means of registration and analysis of trajectories of simple movements of separate organs and their joint coordinated movements; average statistical parameters of movements of a group of healthy subjects are determined by recording and analyzing trajectories of simple movements of separate organs and their joint coordinated movements; determining the movement parameters of the subject from the risk group by recording and analyzing the trajectories of simple movements of separate organs and their joint coordinated movements; when analyzing the results, the emergence of a persistent trend of the value or values of the movement parameters of the subject from the risk group in relation to the values of the control group towards those of the patients with early stage of PD is detected, which indicates a prodromal stage of PD in this subject.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of determining the forthcoming PD at the earliest (prediagnostic) stages of its development, id est detecting the prodromal stage of PD.
