FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and can be used on the lunar surface to receive various cargoes. Lunar receiving device is a vertical shaft pierced in the thickness of the lunar surface. Receiving device consists of receiving funnel, vertical tunnel and working chamber, in which destruction of shell-container takes place. Leakage of its contents into space is prevented by a horizontal gate valve which tightly closes the inlet of the tunnel. Shell-container is decelerated due to conversion of its energy into kinetic energy of lunar soil, which is output through system of tunnels to the surface of the Moon.
EFFECT: increasing the payload delivered to the Moon.
