FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to mechanical presses, the operation of which is based on the use of centrifugal forces to convert rotational motion into translational. The working body of the press is a steel belt flywheel, in which the central part of the winding is removed, and the axis of rotation is turned 90° relative to the rim and coincides with the plane of the winding of the tape. The flywheel ring (2) is installed in the frame (1), which has the shape of an oval, elongated vertically, which is fixed in the ring holders (3) mounted on the rotation shafts (4). The upper rotation shaft has the ability to move up and down, is brought out of the frame and is held in the upper position by means of a spring (5). In the rotation mode, under the action of centrifugal forces, the side parts of the flywheel diverge to the sides, its poles converge and through steel plates (6) press on the workpiece (7).
EFFECT: as a result, the possibility of obtaining large forces created by the press is provided, with a relatively small mass and size of the press.
