SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impression materials for making an impression in the oral cavity. Proposed dental impression material contains a thickener, an antimicrobial additive, calcium sulphate, sodium phosphate, diatomite, phenolphthalein, a pigment, wherein the thickener is a mixture of boric acid and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and the antimicrobial additive is silver nanoparticles, with the following content of components, wt.%: xanthan gum 1.8; sodium phosphate 0.75; diatomite 44.04; magnesium oxide 14.0; magnesium carbonate 9.0; calcium sulphate 20.6; potassium fluoride 1.9; boric acid 4.0; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 3.0; metakaolin 0.4; silver nanoparticles 0.37; specific pH indicator—phenolphthalein 0.02; inorganic pigment titanium yellow 0.12; or xanthan gum 1.3; sodium phosphate 0.7; diatomite 55.9; magnesium oxide 13.92; magnesium carbonate 5.0; calcium sulphate 17.2; potassium fluoride 1.5; boric acid 2.0; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 2.0; metakaolin 0.25; silver nanoparticles 0.09; specific pH indicator—phenolphthalein 0.02; inorganic pigment titanium yellow 0.12.

EFFECT: improved bactericidal properties of the dental impression material along with a wider range of compositions thereof by replacing the alginate with a binder—boric acid—hydroxypropyl methylcellulose in order to provide orthopedic dental treatment for a wide contingent of patients.
