FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to chronomedicine, endocrinology, dietology and therapy, and can be used to assess individual metabolic risk by circadian light hygiene. Following factors are taken into account in points: the latitude of the region of residence taking into account the seasonality of the estimate calculation, the obtained daylight according to the survey data, the regular screen time, the polymorphism of the melatonin receptor gene MTNR1B rs10830963 and the polymorphism of the clock gene CLOCK rs1801260. Further, the scores are summed up and the metabolic risk is assessed as a minimum with a total score of 5 and less, an average risk with a total score of 6 to 10, inclusive, and a high metabolic risk with a total score of 11 and more.
EFFECT: method provides the effective assessment of the individual metabolic risk by circadian light hygiene by taking into account the factors modifying the effect on metabolism.
