FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to chronomedicine, endocrinology, dietology and therapy, and can be used to assess individual metabolic risk by circadian light hygiene. Following factors are taken into account in points: the latitude of the region of residence taking into account the seasonality of the assessment calculation, the obtained daytime and evening melanopic light exposure according to actigraphy data, the polymorphism of the melatonin receptor MTNR1B rs10830963 and the clock gene polymorphism CLOCK rs1801260. Further, the scores are summed up and the metabolic risk is assessed as a minimum with a total score of 5 and less, an average risk with a total score of 6 to 10, inclusive, and a high metabolic risk with a total score of 11 and more.
EFFECT: method provides an objective assessment of the individual metabolic risk by circadian light hygiene by taking into account the factors modifying the effect on metabolism.
