FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, namely to a method of enriching endocrine cell aggregates obtained in vitro from stem cells with endocrine cells co-expressing NKX6.1 and C-peptide, or endocrine precursor cells co-expressing NKX2.2 and NKX6.1. Said method provides dissociation of said aggregates of endocrine cells into separate cells, treatment of said individual cells with a cryopreservation medium and lowering the temperature to obtain cryopreserved endocrine cells, thawing said cryopreserved endocrine cells and providing re-aggregation of said endocrine cells obtained after thawing.

EFFECT: invention is effective for enrichment of endocrine cell aggregates obtained in vitro from stem cells with endocrine cells co-expressing NKX6.1 and C-peptide, or endocrine precursor cells co-expressing NKX2.2 and NKX6.1.
