FIELD: light industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for determination of sample projection parameters. To obtain a vertical projection of a sample of textile material, a sample of textile material is cut to determine its drapability. It is placed on the support surface and fixed in the center of the support surface. Calibration element is installed at a distance of not more than 0.5–1.0 cm from the textile material sample by moving the stand with the calibration element towards the support surface. Reading device is installed. Reading device, which is a photo and video camera, is installed opposite the support surface with a sample of textile material placed on it, on one horizontal axis of the support surface. Textile material is fixed with a needle located on the vertical axis of the support surface. Calibration element is displaced on a support along guide straight racks. Proposed device comprises flat base and two stands rigidly secured thereon. On one of the supports there is a support surface for placing a sample of textile material, on the other side there is a calibration element with the possibility of movement of the tripod along the guides. Opposite the support surface for the textile material sample arrangement—a sphere with a needle—on a vertical axis on an additional support there is a reading device—a photo-video camera. Calibration element made in the form of a cube has the possibility of being moved on a support along the guide straight racks. Base of the device has a rectangular shape.

EFFECT: high quality of the obtained image of the projection of the textile material sample, convenience of obtaining a vertical projection of the material sample for determining its drapability.
