FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: round fabric sample with axes in the longitudinal and crosswise direction preliminarily marked is fixed on the base disc, in the centre with a needle. On top one lays over the load disk that is fixed by means of the needle with the help of a three-lobe clamp. Then the fabric sample is raised and dropped five times along a rigidly fixed rod with the cut edges of the fabric hanging part brought as close as possible to the flatbed scanner surface with the bracket position fixed with the help of a screw. One determines the area of the horizontal projection of the fabric sample and the lengths of the axial lines after deformation with the help of a flatbed scanner connected to a PC. Obtained digital information if processed with the help of computer software. The draping quality coefficient is determined as the ratio of the difference of the areas of fabric sample and its horizontal projection after deformation to the fabric sample area. The method allows to increase accuracy of the target parameters through obtainment of a clear projection of cut edges of the fabric sample hanging part, full-scale and with minimum time consumption.

EFFECT: invention allows to determine fabric properties anisotropy.
