FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining agglomeration capacity of agglomerated ore, which enables to evaluate clustering of reduced iron at its reduction using high concentration of hydrogen taking into account heat compensation when using physical heat of blasting, and obtaining agglomerated ore based on this evaluation method. Agglomerated ore is reduced under action of specified load at temperature from 1,000 °C to 1,200 °C, including the limits of the range for obtaining the recovered aggregated material. Reduced aggregated material is processed in a rotating drum, the cluster strength CS of the reduced aggregated material is determined and the agglomeration capacity of the agglomerated ore is determined based on the cluster strength CS.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of determining agglomeration capacity of agglomerated ore.
