FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of a solid agglomerated product for use as charge material for an electric-arc furnace. The product contains at least one fraction (M, M1, M2, M3) of a side product of a steelmaking process, having the first part containing iron oxide (II) (FeO), and the second part containing iron oxide (III) (Fe2O3), a solid fuel fraction (CR) containing carbon (C_fix), and at least one inorganic binder for agglomeration and giving the resulting product mechanical characteristics providing storage and transportation. The inorganic binder at least partially contains slag, while the mentioned slag is white slag and/or black slag, wherein white slag is waste of secondary metallurgy processes, and black slag is waste of a process of melting in the electric-arc furnace.
EFFECT: simplification of transportation, storage of a product, reduction in waste, and optimization of resources.
