FIELD: molecular biology.

SUBSTANCE: what is described is a method for detecting Mammarenavirus machupoense virus using the DETECTR method, involving extraction of RNA from biological samples followed by detection of target RNA fragments of the viral genome. Further, isothermal recombinase polymerase amplification with reverse transcription is combined in one test tube with fluorescent detection by preliminary spatial separation of reaction mixtures for amplification of nucleic acids and fluorescent detection of DETECTR in a test tube with subsequent mixing.

EFFECT: development of isothermal method for identification of genetic material of Mammarenavirus machupoense virus in biological samples and other virus-containing samples.
