Material for temperature sensor based on measurement of effective luminescence decay time has hexagonal crystal structure corresponding to CeF3-matrix, is described by chemical formula Ce0.5Y0.5-XTbXF3, where X is from 0.1 to 0.3, and is presented in the form of rhombic nanoparticles with size of 15-30 nm.

EFFECT: material is characterized by absolute temperature sensitivity of 13.71-6.98 mcs/K in the operating temperature range close to room temperature.
