FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used for diagnosis of foetal growth retardation (FGR) at various stages of pregnancy. Ultrasound and Doppler studies are performed. Foetal abdominal circumference (mm) (AC), pulsation index in the right uterine artery (percentile) (PIUAright), cerebral-placental ratio (percentile) (CPR) are measured. Probability of the onset of the FGR (p) is calculated using the original formula. If p<0.0247, a conclusion is made on the absence of FGR, if p>0.0247 – on the presence of FGR.
EFFECT: method enables detecting and determining a risk group by FGR, reducing the rate of iatrogenic delivery, neonatal morbidity and mortality by assessing the ultrasound and Doppler findings.
