FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and can be used for prediction of a risk of developing haematotoxic, hepatotoxic, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse reactions in the patients suffering pulmonary tuberculosis and taking bedaquiline. Blood is sampled in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis before the beginning of treatment with introduction of bedaquiline to the therapeutic regimen, and a CYP3A4 gene variant is established. When detecting polymorphic variants of gene CYP3A4*1G (rs2242480), *1B (rs2740574) risk of developing haematotoxic, hepatotoxic, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse reactions is predicted. If observing a wild variant of CYP3A4*1 gene, no risk of the above adverse reactions is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides more effective prediction of adverse drug reactions in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis receiving bedaquiline, by determining polymorphic variants of gene CYP3A4*1G (rs2242480), *1B (rs2740574), CYP3A4*1.
