FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a microfluidic chip for sorting living cells. In the microfluidic chip, the sample flow channel is in communication with the liquid inlet hole in the sorted flow channel. Channel for flow of incoming gas, channel for target flow and channel for non-target flow are in communication with outlet end for liquid of channel for sorted flow. Included angle between the channel for the target flow and the channel for the sorted flow ranges from 100° up to 130°, and the included angle between the channel for the non-target flow and the channel for the sorted flow is from 100° up to 140°. Distance between the point of intersection of the axis of the channel for the flow of the incoming gas with the axis of the channel for the sorted flow and the point of intersection of the channel for the sorted flow, the channel for the target flow and the channel for the non-target flow is from 0.02 mm to 0.05 mm.
EFFECT: arrangement and arrangement of channels in the microfluidic chip provides an increase in the area of the sorting area to extend the residence time of the cells in the cell sorting area, so that the gas flow can accurately blow the target cells into the target flow channel, thereby improving the cell sorting accuracy.
