SUBSTANCE: invention discloses composite material and a device for quantitative estimation of lactate content in physiological fluids, comprising a reference electrode, an auxiliary electrode and a working electrode whose surface is coated with a composite material. Composite material contains polymer matrix (4) based on bovine serum albumin covalently bonded with neutral red mediator, inclusion of lactate oxidase enzyme (3) and single-wall carbon nanotubes (2), immobilized in said polymer matrix (4); wherein composite material contains components in a predetermined ratio.

EFFECT: inventions provide an increase in the upper limit of the range of determined lactate concentrations in physiological fluids and an increase in the long-term stability of the device.
