FIELD: analysis and preparation of ores for further processing. SUBSTANCE: composition of dump tailings of a bed, is as follows, wt.-% 73.11 SiO2; 15.91 Al2O3; 0.70. B2O3; 2.38 Fe2O3; 0.97 CaO; 0.73 MgO; 0.01 Li2O; 3.82 Na2O; 3.01 K2O; 0.04 Rb2O; 0.02 Cs2O. The content of oxide groups is calculated by the results of analyses and plotted on coordinate axes of a developed rectangular tetrahedron using the alumina content for the beginning of coordinates, as follows. The sum of calcium, magnesium and iron oxides (4.08% ) is laid on the negative direction of the X-coordinate while the sum of oxides of alkali metals (6.9%), on the positive direction of said coordinate. The value of the sum of aluminium and boron oxides (15.9%) is drawn perpendicularly down from the obtained points. This produces figurative points which characterize the composition of used raw material. By comparing the position of points with the already determined fields of the diagram corresponding to processing of the raw material only to cement clinker or to complex processing with separation of rare alkaline elements, the type of the raw mineral and the nature of its further processing are determined.
