FIELD: the invention refers to the field of radio electronics and is designed for using in quality of a generator or an amplifier of millimeter diapason of the length of waves in radiolocation, radio astronomy, radio spectroscopy etc.
SUBSTANCE: the electron-ray lamp of millimeter diapason has a waveguide, along whose axle a delaying system fulfilled in the shape of a row of metallic plates with slits is installed. The distance between the neighboring plates is approximately equal to the period of the delaying system. The slits systems are installed in each plate exactly opposite to each other or are displaced for a certain part of the period of the structure. The tape electronics flow is passed along the plates in clearances between them. Broadband coordination of the delaying system with free space is provided.
EFFECT: increases output power and coefficient of effectiveness of the electron-ray lamp.
