FIELD: tools and instruments repair and manufacture. SUBSTANCE: composite powders are melt by laser beam and fed to the zone of surfacing; the part to be surfaced can also be moved toward the laser beam. The part to be treated is preheated to be further surfaced at 550-700 C. By one stroke, a layer 0.2-0.6 mm is built up. Immediately after the process, the part has to be annealed at 550-600 C for three times. EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability. 2 tbl
