The latter process is carried out till content of dry material in concentrate is 18-22 %. Permeate is demineralized with the help of ion-exchange resins, the process is carried out twice at 20 C. Permeate is consequently passed through cationite in highly acid form, volume ratio cationite and permeate being 1:40 and through anionite in bicarbonate form, volume ratio anionite and permeate being 1:10.
