METHOD TO PREDICT THE SEVERITY OF DISEASE AT COMBINED DAMAGE AND BURN TRAUMA Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2109286 C1

FIELD: medicine, surgery, traumatology, anesthesiology, revivification. SUBSTANCE: in patients with burn trauma method deals with estimating a burn area, the presence of mechanical damages, neurological status, determining the terms of preclinical period, clinical and biochemical blood values. Then prediction of disease severity is conducted both right in the focus of the given damage and in dynamics. The ranges obtained for measured values are estimated in points and at their total being below 0 a high possibility for favorable outcome is predicted, at the total being 7 and more it is possible to state on unfavorable outcome, and at the total below 7 but above 0 an indefinite outcome could be predicted. EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction to elaborate curative tactics and volume for necessary helping. 3 tbl
